About Us

Proprietor; Mr. Tony Letts, ex-repro printer and publisher with a full printing apprenticeship, followed by 35 years in the industry, started Internal Affairs, simply to bridge the gap between designers and the printed word.
With the advent of DTP (desk top publishing), the belief then, was, that there was, and still is, a massive gap between the blank sheet (origination), of paper and the printed ‘sheet’ (design), and in 1996 Internal Affairs was created.
With this Print/Management experience, Tony recognised the need for an independent production management service. “We provide a first class service to all of our clients from initial design briefing to final delivery. Taking into consideration printing constraints during the first stages of design, ultimately saves time and our client’s money. We are the central communication point between our client and the printer – we ensure a job is right first time”.

Sandie Simmonds joined Internal Affairs in July 1997 as Office Manager, bringing with her administration skills to ensure that the day-to-day running of the office and all projects are completed on time.

Internal Affairs continued to grow and then in 2002, and with now a growing, established client base in the Power Transmission Industry, Internal Affairs own design team created Power Transmission Review (P&TR).

Early 2004 with continued full support from previously contacted advertisers and established clients and with copy now in place, Internal Affairs was ready to launch P&T Review.

Staff at Internal Affairs, over the next following months and with the help of advertisers and PR Agencies alike, gained a wealth of power transmission experience, and with design, print and advertising, the amalgamation seemed a natural one.

Over the following years, P&T Review has grown from strength to strength, and can now boldly claim to be the industry-leader in the UK Power Transmission Distributor Industry and widely accepted by Advertisers and PR Agencies alike.

Since the launch of P&TR, Sandie’s role has changed dramatically, she still runs the office but has been fully involved within P&TR since its launch in 2004. Alongside Tony, she can also be contacted to discuss your PTR advertising requirements.

Following the success of P&TR, we have now combined with Fluid Power Review: under the one title of P&T Review. ‘The ONE leading source for the Fluid & Power Transmission Industry’.

Due to this successful amalgamation, the circulation of P&T Review, has increased for the moment, by 50%. Giving you, the advertiser an even larger targeted audience!

Here we are, continuing to look for new business opportunities so in 2014 after lengthy software research, together with our own expertise, launched P&TR VirtualEx, the UK’s first and only online Exhibition, yet another first for P&TR, allowing an exhibition event without leaving your desk!
