As part of his trip to Germany, the Japanese Deputy Economics Minister Hirofumi Takinami visited the industrial camera manufacturer IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH in Obersulm at the beginning of April. The internationally operating company is one of the market leaders in the industrial image processing industry. The IDS headquarters in Obersulm, Germany is both a development and production site.
IDS has integrated the high-resolution 12 MP IMX226 rolling shutter sensor into the uEye CP camera family, giving increased resolution, speed and sensitivity. The new models are available with the established GigE or USB3 interfaces and will be available from May 2019.
