At K 2025, taking place from October 8th to 15th in Düsseldorf, KEBA Industrial Automation will present its latest innovations under the motto “Automation to suit your taste.” The company is focusing on holistic solutions, digitalization, and artificial intelligence, with highlights including the versatile Kemro X platform — KEBA’s open and flexible architecture for industrial automation that reflects the breadth of its product portfolio.

Kemro X is a modular platform that seamlessly integrates hardware, software, and services into a holistic architecture. With its open interfaces, it is ideally suited for customized solutions in extrusion blow molding, thermoforming, extrusion, recycling, packaging, and injection molding.

New addition to the injection-molding-optimized KePlast i-Series: KePlast i1200 makes its debut

The KePlast i-Series has long been synonymous with proven turnkey expertise in injection molding. At the trade fair, KEBA will showcase the full range: the high-end i8000 system with active panel, the powerful all-rounder KePlast i3000 featuring multitouch technology, and now the new KePlast i1200, which ushers in a new era of cost-efficient control systems.

The KePlast i1200 combines high-performance control with ARM technology and a premium HMI panel featuring a modern look & feel. “This control technology is the first of its kind at KEBA, opening up new possibilities and setting new benchmarks in reaction time,” explains Günther Weilguny, Head of Automation Plastics. Another innovation is the optional KeWheel OP-Knob, an innovative rotary control integrated into the operator panel.

KePlast Smart Functions extend KEBA’s control and drive technology with intelligent software features that create added value across all plastics applications. Functions such as Pressure Closed-Loop, Fast Reaction Control, Torque Control, Position Balance, and fast cross-communication via EtherCAT ensure the highest levels of precision, stability, and efficiency.

For injection molding machines, KEBA also offers smart assistants such as Dynamic Pump, KePlast Smart Inject, Automatic Ramp Calibration, Smart Movement, and the Toggle Lever. In the Makerspace, visitors can experience live how AI-powered workflows, simulation, digital twins, HTML5 visualization, and the new Diagnostics Service interact to enable efficient analysis in service cases.
